Last Sunflowers of the Season

Good morning,

On Tuesday evening while I’m setting up for a presentation at the Creative Photography Society in Glen Burnie, I get a phone call from my neighbor. Well you know the first thing that goes through your head is oh my something must be wrong at home. Thankfully it wasn’t one of those calls at all. He wanted to inform me that he found a sunflower field that I should shoot.

So yesterday evening, Kelly Zach and I took a run to see what we could come up with. We had incredible clouds most of the afternoon and I was hoping that they would stick around for sunset. The wind was my enemy on the shoot as it was really pushing those sunflowers around which dictated a higher ISO to stop the movement. It wasn’t quite the sunset I was hoping for but nonetheless it was beautiful to witness.
