Good morning and it looks like we have another snowy day in Eastern Pennsylvania!

Over the weekend Kelly and I taught a private camera club workshop at Blackwater Falls, West Virginia. We had an outstanding group that was very energetic and thirsty for knowledge.

Although our conditions were not optimal (no fresh snow) we did have great subjects to work with allowing us to create a few nice images.

I titled this blog post “Opportunities”. Many people expect to get out and have amazing light all day so that they can create extraordinary images, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes we are only blessed with a very short window or glimpse of beautiful light. This is where creating an opportunity (by being in the right place at the right time) is all we need to make a nice capture.

Best of light,
